AAT 2023 Events

SA Agriculture Hall of Fame

The Southern African Agriculture Hall of Fame is convened to recognise exemplary agricultural leadership in production, agribusiness and agriculture research and to acknowledge those who have made significant contributions towards building a better future for the agriculture sector in Southern Africa.

The Agriculture Hall of Fame recognises and pays tribute to the pioneers who represent over 100 years of combined efforts to build a resilient and thriving commercial agriculture sector in South Africa.

The SA Agriculture Hall of Fame was launched at Africa Agri Tech in March 2023 to an audience of 300 plus conference delegates, media and industry luminaries. In introducing the 2023 inductee Dr John Purchase said: "It is both a great honour and a privilege".

Shell Tech Try-Out Zone

Proudly presented by Shell Lubricants the Tech Try Out Zone presented AgriTech developers and innovators daily opportunities to share their latest inventions and solutions with visitors.

AAT Expo & Showfloor

Africa Agri Tech brings leaders in innovation, technology and agriculture together along with major industry stakeholders committed to the positive reinvention of agriculture.

Africa Agri Tech is the gateway to the Southern African agricultural science and technology ecosystem where agriculture meets innovation. We are connecting industry leaders shaping a purpose-driven, sustainable and innovative future for agriculture.

The Expo succeeds on its ability to introduce a diversity of products, services and solutions to agribusinesses and farmers at a marketplace where ideas and relationships further the sustainability of agriculture.

AAT is more than an event … networking at the event provides access to a wide-ranging cross section of active buyers and sellers.

Advancing tech enabled agriculture

Africa Agri Tech is the ideal launchpad for start-ups and innovators to exhibit at and showcase their products, services and solutions. The Shell Tech Try-Out Zone comprised a mini theatre where companies could present and demonstrate their innovations.

App Alley hosted exhibits dedicated to turning new technology opportunities into practical business advantages.
