Africa Agri Tech sets the stage for agriculture in 2020 and beyond with a three-day conference and workshop programme featuring trends, technologies, products and solutions that will revolutionise agricultural business practices going forward. Announcing the Landbouweekblad conference as the headline opening conference, Chris Burgess, editor-in-chief of Landbouweekblad said:

Farmers will have to develop the competencies required to tackle increasingly complex technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and analytics in order to stay ahead of the booming technology curve and ensure that they select the most relevant innovations and technologies to maximise their operations.

The adjacent Sun Arena will feature technology displays, exhibitors, and Tech Try-Out zones that allow for hands-on demonstrations. The City of Tshwane will host the first technology focused event for the agricultural sector in 2020.
